FREE BREAKFAST and LUNCH FOR KIPP STUDENTS

 

Community Eligibility Information for KIPP Texas-Houston FamiliesKIPP Texas Public Schools is excited to announce a change to its policy for serving meals to children under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs for the 2019-2020 school year. KIPP Texas-Houston now participates in the Community Eligibility Provision program (CEP). This means each student enrolled in a participating KIPP Texas school receives breakfast and lunch at no cost, regardless of economic eligibility. We are thrilled to provide this program for your KIPPster starting this school year!

 

Here is what you need to do next:

 

Step One: Look for an email the first week of school with a link to a household income form.

 

Step Two: Fill out the household income form as soon as possible. In order for KIPP to continue to offer no cost meals, it is important that all families complete the household income form as without this KIPP will not be able to offer the program.

 

Step Three: Your student will have access to free, nutritious breakfast and lunch.
